Considering how much added development work would have to go into that, I'm pretty sure they just want to get these characters out and about.
Plus, that would require them to restructure the gallery for the new ending art.
Anyway, it's pretty much a given that these characters will come standard on the next release of BlazBlue, so it's not like you have to download them now or you'll never get to play them.

I would have been okay with a lack of story mode since that would have probably set it back for a bit since they would have to bring in the voice actors to do everything. However I don't see a reason to leave out being able to use the character in arcade mode.

Apparently (according to Wikipedia, so take this with a grain of salt) the beta starts this week.

In all reality, it shouldn't. Rowling is a very creative individual (in that she stole the entire book series from The Books of Magic), but she can't build a world for shit. Every time she expanded on the wizarding world it made even less sense than before.

I think it was /sp/ that had an entire thread on Quidditch, using that as a basis to show how Harry Potter's world just wouldn't work.

As much as I love Guile, charge characters are so weird in MvC games...thought I do have fun using him and Charlie in MVC2 regardless. Bison is straight up awful though.
