I'll keep looking, though. I admit have a certain fondness for the Lords, too. It seems that most fan stuff for them is art rather than writing and I have plenty of that if you want.

The fandom may think that Bruce likes hurting Clark (and might enjoy seeing it, coughcough) but I think there are a couple semi-legitimate reasons to break out the Kryptonite:

a. Bruce may see it as a way to keep Clark in his place, as in not enslaving the human race or whatever although Clark would never do that if left to his own devices. What better way to prevent smug complacency from the near-god than reminding him that he isn't actually indestructible?

b. Bruce does not like unknowns. Clark is a BIG unknown. Relates to the previous reason.

c. Clark is good at finding ways to piss Bruce off, intentionally or otherwise.

d. It would not surprise anyone if Bruce actually was a sadist. You would have to admit that beating on Superman would make any sadist pretty happy...

Yeah, and you can't really tell who's who... I'm guessing Bruce is the one on top because he has slightly longer hair, but it's really anyone's guess. I'm realizing one of the parts I enjoy most about Bruce/Clark art is how people make them look distinctive next to one another.

I'm certain that Clark is on top, but that's probably only because I can recognize the artist's style. He's a little bigger and his chin's more rounded. Bruce's hair always falls in a certain way, his nose is more pointed and his jaw is more angular.

Although Bruce was clearly bothered by my overnight stay in the Wayne Manor...He was ready for work in super speed, and didn't even invite me to breakfast...
