That's not really hypocritical, though. Guild Wars 2 is set up to be a different game, both play-and-setting-wise. New engine, new controls, set so far in the future that the previous story won't figure into it. LBP2 adds a bunch of cool shit to the stuff that was already there. So it could have conceivably been an update, whereas you couldn't update Guild Wars to Guild Wars II without scrapping the previous game by proxy.
