okay, I saw this game on /tg/ awhile ago.it had a map setup like this, and you essentially played as a god, could terraform, create races, disasters, etc based on your dice rolls.can anyone give me the name of this game?
That would be Dawn of Worlds, my good man.http://www.clanwebsite.org/games/rpg/Dawn_of_Worlds_game_1_0Final.pdfEnjoy. /tg/ has some house rules for a imageboard version of the game.
I should make a tileset and we should get a group together to play this over OpenRPG.
>>89637yes, you should. Or if we could get the admin to add a dice rolling feature to this board then we could play it here.
>>89637I'm down man.
>>89637>>89641>>89647OP here, yeah it'd be great to play with you guys from /cog/
Starting with the basic map-making stuff. Should be able to build some basic stuff with the tiles I've made so far. Going to make more, just not sure how these look.Sprite art stolen from Crono Trigger, btw, I just photochopped it up to suit my needs.
>>89691looks fine to me
Dawn of Worlds is an awesome game. I played in the first one on /tg/ it was really disorganized then but I had a lot of fun. The best part is its a great world building tool. Play a game of Dawn of Worlds with a bunch of friends and before you know it you have a homebrew setting to play in that everyone loves and is familiar with.
>>89702see, the problem with that is that I don't have friends that typically play games like this
I would like an update from this guy>>89691
>>89894Oh, sorry. I shall work more this weekend, I have been pre-occupied with female companion and team forts.
i'll bump this
>>89691so whatever happened to this?
>>90700So many distractions. :(
