I had an idea for a goofy Transformers fan character.

A peacnik, druid-y sort of nod to monks and all their serenity. A Russian independent bot that had three modes; Rocket, large stationary tree and druid-esque humanoid form. Abilities running the gambit from plasma and electromagnetic propulsion to lasers. In tree form, lots of photovoltaic fiber optic cables act as the canopy and camouflage, allowing him to derive energon from sunlight as nourishment and hide in plain sight.

His complaint stems from the stylized animation, which though good and consistent gives a bit off an off look to the transformers if you aren't used to it or dislike the style. For him it was too stylized and off to enjoy, I don't agree, but I can certainly understand his stance.
