Well it is true that corn is magnificent, its not really as food, but more as a manufacturer. It can be used to make polymers, fuel, bio-degradable plastics, syrup, general livestock feed, general food, etc.

Corn is filler, when it becomes the bulk of a product, the product is ruined.

BUT CORN ON THE COB IS DELICIOUS.

Taber corn is some of the best corn grown in the world and I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't tried it.

That said. Corn was apparently only eaten in north America and caused some major nutrition problems in Europe when it was introduced so I can see why some people don't like it. Apparently most of what's grown is unfit for human consumption so that may have something to do with it.
