TEA GODDAMN
So yeah tea is the best thing in the world. Today I cracked open a bag of Russian caravan tea, and HOLY SHIT is it good. Why did I not come to this sooner?DAT AROMA, DAT STRONG FLAVOUR.
Would you like to take a break from the heavy flavors, and have some Mongolian salted milk tea...there's some dried yogurt and cookies here too.
>>3681I really would and those cookies look amazing
I am very fond of tea.Currently working my way through a package of Earl Grey. Tastes kinda like Froot Loops.
I'm just happy with store brand or Lipton black tea and a little bit of sugar.Great for those cold days.
>>3680FUCK YES. NOW YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK.
I love tea. As long as it's sweet.
>>3688Inb4 shitstorm
>>3688I wasn't a fan of sweet tea before I moved to NC, but it's really starting to grow on me.
>>3684Unless you're willing to make it a habit, never even once do loose leaf. You won't ever go back.I can't enjoy my Twinings Earl Grey any more. So chaffy ;_;
Coffee was here. Tea is for pussies. No cream. No sugar.Final Destination.
>>3695I've done and dumped loose tea. I'm fine with loose tea or bagged, cause I'm uncultured swine.
I don't really care if I'm drinking coffee or tea, as long as there is cream in it it's fucking DELICIOUS.I wish I could get more into fancy teas, but I can't for the life of me find a nice tea store. Also I find loose leaf to be a lot of hassle since NO ONE FUCKING SELLS TEAPOTS WITH FILTERS FFFFFFI miss my family's old Samovar.
>>3698just get a strainer>>3696C'mon man that's some lazy-tier trolling. May aswell compare steak and snowboarding.
>>3698>as long as there is cream in it
I need to buy a strainer so I can finally dig into this rose tea I've been drying to try.
>>3704>rose flavoured anything
>>3702Cream in coffee is fucking delicious.Fuck sugar though, it turns coffee into a completely different beverage. It makes tea even more delicious, however.
I recently moved house. Filled a large suitcase with nothing but mah tea. Also, what is this talk of cream and sugar? YOU BABIES OF SAVAGES.
>>3695I always keep a handful of Twinings Earl Grey in my bag for tea on the go. I've tried to take my loose tea kit around with me, but it just takes too much room in my bag.And yeah, it's not great, but it's still better than most bagged teas.
monkey picked tea is emperor tier
One of the myriad reasons I love going to my sister's house is that there's always good tea here. I've been slowly working my way through her stash of rooibos the past few days.
>>3697Well, I never!>>3707When I came back from China only a fourth of my suitcase was tea. I gravely regret that decision to this day ;_;
>the rose tea>my faceno sir that was awfulThe Harrod's Earl grey was very good though.
New England Breakfast Blend coffee for me, but I'll take some green tea with lemon and honey or some down-south style sweet tea any time it's offered.
I saw a really nice tea shop on my way back from buying hairdye and pokemon. But I couldn't go in because I blew my budget on hairdye and pokemon.Has a sad.
Black Tea is master tea. Oversteep dem leaves until it's hardcore, drink that shit up.Recommend me best black teas, Senor.I carry a pre-loaded strainer when I'm out in the mornings, rock it pro style. Cup strainers are the best though. Fund it.
>>3720I love New England Coffee! That stuff's pretty good.
>>3709>monkey-pickedI must get some!I've slowly recovered my taste for tea after living in Ireland. Too much cheap crap! Bleh! I could live a century and it'd be too soon to have another cup of Lyon's or Barry's!Also, for any of those who um, consume certain herbal substances, black tea actually is quite pleasant to vape. >.>
>>3761
>>3762
>>3764Ugh, I need something good to wash away the memory of the taste!
Tea Brings out the Koreaboo in me.
godamn i need to rob that place senor where is that place they are about to get a midnigth ninja visit
>>3775Considering its a photo from Tsarist Russia I think someone beat you to itTea Weighing Station"This photo shows the interior of a tea packaging and weighing operation located at the Chakva tea farm and processing plant just north of Batumi, close to the Black Sea coast in what is now the Republic of Georgia. The Chakva farm and plant was one of the major suppliers of tea to all parts of the Russian Empire.Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii.Weighing Section, ca. 1907-1915."
>>3765lemon blanc mange, yogurt crisp, pistachio gelato, fennel puddingand in the background: liquid pumpkin pie, brown butter ice cream, pecan short crust
>>3779Also,to keep things relevant, apricot herbal tea with a side of gingerbread cookies, on fine bone Aynsley china from England. And to be perfectly honest, I was the one that caused the original taste to storm into you again, if I had not done it, then giving all these new tastes would not have been as nourishing, I break then I make stronger.
Genmaicha (especially the heavier Japanese) is a fantastic tea. It's one of those almost savoury greens, and can be a little salty to those not used to it. The toasted rice really adds to the flavour, I think, and you get the strangest undertone of popcorn as a result.Or, for those who enjoy more exotic and bloody difficult to find teas, look for Kawakawa with ginger and lemongrass. It's a bitch to find outside of New Zealand (being a traditional Maori herb that's not really found anywhere else on earth), but it takes a bit of honey or sugar beautifully. It's one of the only herbals I can drink, because it actually has flavour instead of just stinking to high heaven of whatever the fuck is being used to fill space.Yeah, they're both looseleaf, but a tea strainer will set you back less than 50 pence and they're totally worth it.
>>3757Get some fucking strawberry tea. Goddamn delicious.
Bump for new recipe.Boil your tea's water separately. In a dry teapot add:1 cinnamon stickA splash of vanilla extraJust a tiny, tiny bit of cayenne pepper. Too much can over power the taste and you can always add more if you want to.A slice of fresh gingerPour in the water and chai tea leaves and let steep. Mix with milk and honey.
>>4095that sounds like itd be amazing on a snowy day in a duvet fortress
>>3696I drink coffee only black, French pressed.>>3695Truth. I get mine in a shop in San Francisco's Chinatown. So far Jasmin tea is my favorite.Once you get used to a certain quality, it's so hard to go back.>>3704I tried rose tobacco in a hookah once. The most disgusting tobacco ever. Roses should never be consumed, ever.
>>4101I like snowy days more than you could ever hope to like them.
>>4102>Roses should never be consumed, ever.youre fired
>>4105I tried some of that once. Tasted like perfume. Not at all pleasant.
>>4110wat no it doesnt your face is broken
>>4114Yes it does. >>4110 is right.I'm rehiring myself, you're fired.
