>HE CUTS THE CRUST OFF HIS BREAD
>Use one of the most used pictures in all of internet on a SLOW boardOh god...why, Ninja, whyyyyyyyyyyyy
>HE STILL USES ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR FOR HOMEMADE BREAD
Now now, there are plenty of reasons to cut the crust off certain breads. It could be that a person just doesn't like the slightly-burnt taste that crust often has. Depending on the bread, it's possible that he just doesn't want to gnaw it for 20 minutes to get at the fluffy white center. I once had some very expensive orthodontic work seriously fucked up by some hard-ass french bread, for example.
>>2980>he eats white bread
>>2981Wheat bread is awful.Sourdough4life
>>2983Wheat bread rocks socks.
>SHE WAS STARING AT THE LAST SLICE FOR LIKE 20 MINUTES
>HE DIDN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TRUFFLE MUSHROOMS AND THE CHOCOLATES
>IS THAT FORK ON HER LEFT SIDE?
>SHE PRONOUNCES IT "SAL-MON"
>HE STILL THROWS AWAY THE PIZZA CRUST
>>2989Forks are supposed to be on the left, dolt.
>THEY ALL PRONOUNCE IT FILL-AY
>>3004What Bonton school did you go to?1. Forks and spoons are always used by the right hand2. If there is no knife or the knife is not used in the course, the fork goes on the right next to the spoonYou're thinking of the retarded Victorian style with dozens of spoons and forks which had to be placed on opposite sides because there are too many to be on just one sideI'm talking Georgian era (ie the shit used everywhere except Anglo countries) with more simple styles of placementAlso, no need to be rude, you could have just asked
WTF is a fork?If it can't be eaten by putting it between two pieces of bread, or on top of a nacho chip, it's not worth eating.
>>3010i duno all i know is in UK and USA forks are on the left
>>3023>>3010It's odd. USA and UK we use forks on the left side. Only in the US do we switch hands when using knives and forks.Don't even get me started with the Philippines and Thailand.
>>3027In former Yugoslavia, the knife, fork and spoon were flushed to the right.Whereas in Russia the fork and knife were both on the left but the fork was used in the right hand.It depends on the formality of situation, but when eating informally it's usually P-k-f-s
>Grape Juice
>HE STILL ASKS TO BE SEATED IN THE NONSMOKING SECTION
>SHE'D RATHER GO TO P. F. CHANG'S
>SUPERSIZE
>>3051There are no smoking/non-smoking places in restaurants>>3009It is pronounced fill-ay
>>3027Thats okay, I use the knife with my right hand.>>3051>>He thinks theres still a smoking section.
>>3009How are we supposed to pronounce it? Fill-let?
Just the other day I was asked whether I wanted smoking or non. And I thought it WAS pronounced fillay! Oh god, the popular kids are all laughing at me again
>>3073Wikipedia says it varies by country. The French is /filɛ/, where the ɛ is the same as the e in dress or bed. The British version is /ˈfɪlɪt/, the American version is /fɨˈleɪ/ (that last bit is the same as the a in face).
>SHE USED REGULAR OLIVE OIL FOR HER SALAD DRESSING
>She used icing sugar for her Kool-Aid
>HE DOESN'T EAT "FOREIGN FOOD"
>SHE THINKS HUMMUS IS A CAR!
>She thinks Olive Garden is ItalianAlso fuck the haters, I've been gnawing on a baguette all day, and that shit is ALL crust.
>>3110I know a doctor who's so rich that he orders food for his dogs from Olive Garden. He himself will never eat there.tl;dr Olive Garden is officially dog food.
> THEY ORDER GROCERIES ONLINE
>THEY THINK DIET SODA IS HEALTHIER
>>3120Products made with artificial sweeteners contain fewer calories and do not raise your blood sugar. Not saying they're necessarily better for anybody than real sugar, but it's something to consider, especially if you're diabetic and still have a sweet tooth.
>THEY USE PRE-PACKAGED SEASONINGS
>SHE WIPES THE GREASE OFF HER PIZZA WITH A NAPKIN
>>3238One of my friends used to do this in highschool, and I made fun of him so much for it that he just flat out stopped.Same with another friend who insisted on getting a hamburger over a cheeseburger. He only orders them without cheese when I'm not around.
>He still takes dates out for fast food
>>3242who does this?
>>3073its the way me and everyone around me have pronounced it for my entire 20 years of existance, so i'd say yes
>>3246http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/filletIt's okay, the dictionary doesn't think you and your people are goofy retards.
>>3246You're saying it wrong, then. Damn Americans
>>3251It's weird. I didn't even notice that I pronounced it both ways. Filet mignon I pronounce properly, but "fish fillet" is all fucked up and shit's retarded.Hell, we have a restaurant chain (HURR) called Chick-fil-A. UGH MY PEOPLE WHY YOU DO THIS
>>3252filet mignon is the constant exception here because its treated as one word, not a combination>decide to try a random american soda>choose cherry coke
>>3329Vanilla Coke is much superior.
>>3334superior to regular coke
Your mistake was drinking Coke instead of Pepsi.
>>3334>>3336I miss Pepsi Vanilla SO MUCH. Every time I catch a Pepsico distributor, I always ask when they're going to bring it back, since Vanilla Coke is currently on the market. And I get the same damn answer: Pepsi has no plans or desire to bring it back.Profound sadness...
Vanilla pepsi was bad.Vanilla coke is also bad.Cherry Coke and Pepsi Lime, these are the only acceptable permutations.
The crusts make your hair go curly
>HE STILL CALLS EVERY SODA "COKE"
>>3412That's not idiocy, that's southern slang.
>>3412That's nothing, though it is irritating when there's only another kind of cola being offered and STILL ask for a Coke, then get mad when it's not a Coke. Someone give the Coca-Cola marketing department a fucking medal, seriously.Besides, he could be calling it pop.
>>3413What's the difference?
>>3413>>3416JUST AS PLANNED>>3415pop is acceptable. it sounds retro to me. i like it.
>>3415You mean soft-drink, right?
>>3423Soft drinks are any drinks without alcohol, estupido.
>>3416Not a whole lot. It's a subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless.
>>3424here soft-drink refers to just carbonated beverages, not just non alcoholic. you wouldn't call juice a soft drink, for exapmle
>>3435I've never seen "soft drink" used for anything but carbonated stuff before either.
>>3440It is called a soft drink, as opposed to a hard drink of liquor
>>3440Lemonade, Iced Tea, etc.
>>3441>>3448I understand the point you're making, but although I'm familiar with "soft drink" as a category or menu item I have still never heard "soft drink" used casually in the manner that pop, coke, or soda are used, which is how I interpreted the point these posts were making: >>3415>>3423
>HE COVERS EVERYTHING IN KETCHUP
>HE PUTS PASTA/CEREAL IN CEREAL/PASTA BOWLS

>Nobody's brave enough to try my pancake omelet idea.
>>3998What's you pancake omlette idea? I'll try it.
>>3998What, like a crepe?
>>4062Basically, you take unsweetened pancake batter and mix in all of your favorite omelet toppings like sliced bacon, ham, sausage, whatever and assorted veggies and then you cook it like you would any other pancake. For some reason people are afraid to give it a shot.
>>4078So... pajeon but with breakfast items instead of seafood?
