When will MRAM be a thing?
I want MRAM hard drives and RAM. Plentiful, rock solid, cheap, abundant MRAM!

So there's a couple teeny specks on my monitor which just don't go away. They're seemingly a couple pixels which are just perpetually dark. Most of the time they're lost amidst the graphical noise of whatever I'm looking at, and I forget they're even there. On a site like this though, with clean, bright backgrounds, they stand out more and give me a tic of annoyance every time they catch my attention. Is there any way to remedy them?

Yep, that appears to be it. I checked out some possible remedies for if it was just a couple stuck pixels, but none of them made a difference. Also took a look at the warranty, and unless another three pixels burn out within the next year and a half, it won't qualify for service or replacement. Oh well.

Yes, but generally for the money you pay, if it's worth it depends on how well you value visuals. A good 'gaming rig' will have you get a GPU and either pay someone to install it from the same place you got your desktop, or install it yourself (if your computer is retail, that violates the warranty, by the way)

I myself grew up in an era of low tech video games and biting poverty, so I have no problem whatsoever running every game in as low and untaxing a visual setting as the game allows to play it.
