As in, I like Hilda more personally, but in terms of who gets Oga I'd rather see Aoi do that. I mean granted, Hilda's not really that kind of heroine, but between being the female lead and Moe Hilda, I'm desperately worried that Tamamura might decide to scrap that and just go with the cliche'd old female/male lead ending.

So this thread got my attention enough for me to skim the manga more thoroughly. Enjoyed it quite alot.

BEST CHARACTER ON THE SCENE

Toujou really is the best ever. I wanna be Toujou when I grow up.
Just need to move to a country with a primary language that allows for subtle penis jokes to be dropped into everyday conversation.

>> No. 83408
>>83405
Given the number of euphemisms people come up with for their genitals sheerly by dint of human nature, I imagine you can do that in any language. For examples, real anything William Shakespeare has ever written. For example, did you know that every single thing Hamlet said to Ophelia was him making sly references to her vagina?

Is it time for Toujou to get a king's mark?
>> No. 83511
>>83509
I don't want Toujou to get a mark. I love Toujou, but he's his own man and part of his grandness is that, in a world of demon contracts and unholy spellcasters, he's a top player by just working out a lot. A king's crest for him in unnecessary.

Believe it or not, you can "beat the fuck" out of somebody.
Anywhere from one to seven different kinds.
Although, I always assumed that he went by "Captain Fuck You," first, because it sounds better, and second, because it would better explain Cap's violent response.
>> No. 85629
>>85628
Yes, but "Beat seven kinds of shit out of someone" is an actual idiom. "Beat seven kinds of fuck out of someone" is not.
>> No. 85631
>>85629

I'd personally say something like "seven kinds of fuck" but that's not evidence of an idiom, sadly.
>> No. 85635
>>85629
People on the street don't speak in idioms.
Think about it this way: which came first, "Captain ****" or "he beat seven kinds of it out of me?" Right, the pseudonym wasn't chosen in anticipation of getting smacked around, so there's no reason for it to fit into a pre-established turn of phrase.
I'll accept either expletive, though. Both have their strong points, and we should get this thread back on track.
