Correction: They made a fantasy adventure movie about cat-like anthropomorphic creatues living in a human-cat hybrid society.

I kid. The animation looks very good and the trailer puts me in the mind of Spirited Away. And An American Tale. So I'll probably look forward to seeing it. On the other hand I have never understood the desire to tell stories that should relate to humans by using animal characters that act human. Most of the time I find myself wishing the characters really were human instead.

Yes, I DO have an idea. Using fantasy creatures allows for more action, for it is less believable for a human to move a lot; we generally tend to sit and talk IRL. I hope it does make sense. 

Also, it looks like it is based on a book from the 1920's. By the same guy who wrote Night on the Galactic Railroad. And the film directed BY THE SAME GUY WHO ADAPTED THE LATTER BOOK INTO ANIMATION.
