Just a little something I threw together for Fabio and Atrocitus.

Does not contain gay fish sex, I promise.

"...H...Hello? Anyone home...?" Fabio frowned a bit, waving his tail in front of the strange Pokemon's head. Ever since One had left him to relax in this pond, the only other Pokemon he'd seen around was this Slowbro that had been perched on a rock, not moving at all. He'd tried calling out to him and splashing water on him, but nothing seemed to get his attention. Was he asleep? "...Can you even sleep with your eyes open?"

Finally, the creature blinked once and spoke. Slooowly. "...Ah...the water feels nice..." He blinked once more and looked down at the newcomer...little hand...paw...thing coming off his belly to wave politely. "...Hey. I'm...uh...Weh." Another couple of blinks as the Slowbro sat there silently. Eventually his tail started to waggle back and forth...or at least, whatever the hell the thing on his tail was. "...Oh. That's Bruce Campbell. He's..."

...And he just stopped, looking over his shoulder at the shellfish clamped onto him. Fabio raised an eyebrow...quite the feat, considering the size of them...curiously watching the dopey thing. "...Yeah...I'm Fabio...just visiting, I guess...my trainer is friends with somebody here...she said I should try to relax more, but it's hard to get comfortable in new--"

"...Don't intterupt me." Weh spoke again, looking down at Fabio once more. "What I was gonna say was...Bruce is really good at sleeping with his eyes open." And he went quiet again...idly scratching his belly.

Fabio blushed and backed up a bit in the water from the slight reprimand. The Slowbro...ah, Weh...didn't seem upset or anything, but he still felt bad. "...W-Well...are you the only one here...? It's kind of a big pond for just you...especially if you just sit on that rock...I-I mean, n-not to be rude!"

The Slowbro's mouth gradually curled up into something of a smile. "...Coooool it. Yeah...the pond sees a lot ah use..." Weh opened his mouth up one in a yawn before continuing. "Just...most of the students are in class...so their Pokemon are with them instead of roaming the..." He stopped short again, once again for no particular reason. "...grounds. Cheech is off running an errand for Duncan...Atrocitus is here, though"

Fabio shrunk back even more, only of his body sticking out of the water to allow him to see, whisker-brow-things floating on the surface of the water. Attempts to speak just came up as bubbles and water-garbled gibberish.

"...Nah, he's not so..." Weh seemed to understand anyway, and began to attempt to reassure the shivering serpent, but stopped again. "...Oh. Here he comes. You can meet him yourself."

Fabio peeked more of his head out of the water, rather curious as to how the Slowbro could know that, and was about to actually say such, until he was distracted by the ERUPTING TOWER OF WATER directly to his left.

And from the great rising torrent rose...a red streak in the air! High up into the sky! The bright afternoon sun shining through the water and the lusterous crimson scales, making them glitter brilliantly! For that moment, all of Fabio's fears and uncertainties were made petty, forgotten! All at the sight of this remarkable beasts, where words failed and imagery paled!

And as the body hit the water, the most-regal looking head of the creature rose up from the surface, the subtlest of grins gracing his lips. "DUDE! THAT WAS SO AWESOME! Did you see the air I grabbed? So wicked. You were right, dude, the whirlpool thing? Totally worked."

The splash from the recoil of the Gyarados' re-entry washed over Weh, who still barely moved, just reaching up to scratch his chin. "...I missed it. Do it again."

Oh yes, please! Again! A thousand times! Fabio couldn't get the words to come out. It was too amazing! At long last, his search was over! The partner he'd wanted all along!

...No, he didn't really mind the Gyarados was male, either.

"Oh, cool. Gimme, like, two minutes--oh, dude. We have company. Why didn't you say anything, man?" The Gyarados gave a short bow of his head, regarding the stranger Milotic fondly. "They call me...well, they call me Atty. My full name is Atrocitus, dig? But that's waaay too scary..."

"...Well I was gonna..." Weh interrupted, "...but..." And once more his speech stopped, not going anywhere.

Fabio cast his gaze downward, having a hard time keeping his eyes on the Gyarados without blushing or feeling the need to squeal just a little. "...Name's...Fabio...visiting...ah..." Words! Where were the words?!

Atrocitus didn't seem to affected by Fabio's embarassed display. His tailfin came out to lift up Fabio's chin, trying to get eye-to-eye contact going. "You gotta relax, little buddy. Breathe with me. Hoooo...aaaaaah."

He tried, he really did. "H-Ho-hooo....aaaahh-ahhhh..."

"Man, you are waaay too wound up. Tell you what." Atty swam closer, sidling up to Fabio, pushing their bodies together in a sort of friendly fishy hug. "Stick around with us, bro. I'll be your, uh...whazzit called?"

"...Mentos." Weh added, closing his eyes.

"Right, right. I'll be your freshmaker! ...Wait, that doesn't sound right. Weh?"

"...I'm positive...that's what you meant."

"Alright, whatever...the point is, I'll be, like...your older bro, or something. Yeah! I can teach you like Koosy taught me. It'll be--"

"...Ha ha. Meant. Mint. It's a pun..."

"...Riiight. Anyway, as long as you're here, Fabio, you're family." The Gyarados actually sniffled a little, shaking his head back and forth. "I am feeling so much love right now, man. Come on, hug me." His coils tightened around Fabio's body.

And Fabio couldn't breathe. For two reasons. Yesssss...this...happiest day...eee! Can't think! Hope...never leave!

"Fabioooo! It's time to go! We're leaving!"

...D-Dang it...

One had returned the yard out back of the school, apparently having finished her little chat with the owner of it. His trappy trainer produced the Milotic's personal Pokeball from her pocket, quickly returning to it. And sa quickly as the dream was realized...it was over...

"So where exactly are we going, Duncan?"

"Like hell if I know. Plans are for pussies. Atrocitus!"

"Sup."

"You're with me. I need a ride over water that won't almost drown me because he forgot to keep swimming."

"Sweet. Let's saddle up!"

"Alright, so..." One began, checking her PokeNav map. "We should hit Rustboro by tomorrow if we keep going this way."

Duncan sipped at his soda. "Directions are fo pussies." He leaned back against the tree, watching the small campfire One built.

One sighed. "No, this is general direction, not actual direction. There's a difference." She crossed her legs and stared at her friend from across the fire. So blunt. And lazy. But, her bro. And bros stuck together.

"I'm bored." Duncan said. One rolled her eyes. "Alright. How about a scary story?" One suggested, trying to look sinister and waggling her fingers. Sinisterly, of course.

"Eh. Give it a shot." Duncan said, and went back to slurping his drink.

"Okay then, so once, there were these ten people, all the best of friends, on a roadtrip---"

"Must be a pretty big car. Was it one of the dude's vans?" Duncan asked.

"Uh. Sure. Anyway, so they were on a roadtrip..."
"To where?""

One sighed. "Okay, so they started in Pallet Town and are going to end up in Olivine."

"Why?" Duncan asked, generally curious.

"BECAUSE THEY COULD, OKAY? LET ME CONTINUE." One shouted.

"Alright, alright, don't have a heart attack. You have a condition about that, right?" he replied calmly, going back to sipping his soda.

"That's Wally. Anywho, they came across a hitchhiker, right? And they pick him up, so..."

"Why?"
"... Because they're idiots. So, after about an hour, the guy dies."
"... So, he just up and died?"

"Well, yeah. So, they all freak out, and instead of calling a hospital, they bury the guy himself. I know what you're about to say, and BECAUSE THEY WERE IDIOTS."

Duncan nodded and continued sipping his drink.

"So, almost as soon as they hit Olivine, they all die of the exact same disease the guy had. Spoooky~" One said, doing the over-the-top finger wave again.

Duncan paused and stopped sipping his drink. "Well, what was it?"

"... Does it matter?" One said, facepalming.

"Yes. Was it cancer?"
"You know what? Fuck it. Sure, they all died of cancer!"
"Ah. Well.. Did they all have Koffings? Or smoked?"
"SURE, WHY NOT."
"Well, there you go. Not spooky at all."

One let out an exasperated sigh and put her face into her hands. Duncan just went back to his drink, slurping loudly.

"Does that ever run out?"
"I'm trying to figure that out myself."
