AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!
>>77827Yeah One was worse than Garfield
>>77829 What?
>>77833Year* One.sorry.
>>77781>>77827You guys realize that's not the point of what I'm saying, right? If you see a movie that has star power as it's only attraction, go excepting something so bad you can laugh at it, das iz what I do.They aren't lowering themselves, they just jumped on the bad movie movie train and tossed out some bad lines for cash, besides, you ever say terrible movies out loud? It's fun.I often wonder if actors don't take voice jobs some times just for the silliness of it.
>>77827Bill Murray as Garfield made sense, at least. Lorenzo Music was Garfield's VA in Garfield and Friends and fitted him with the voice that anyone who saw the show still associates with him to this day. He's the same guy who did Venkman's voice in the animated Ghostbusters series.
>>77776>sink to bull murray's levelFUCK YOU! BILL IS AMAZING!
>>77835 You must have been one of the thousands of geniuses that paid money to laugh at the Twilight movies in theaters. I just think those two can work on something better than shit like this. Justin Timberlake can bum for money for all I care but Dan’s wasting his chops on this. There are better bad movies to be a part of.
>>77868Indeed, better hokey Sci-Fi that will be around forever as cult classics instead of garish nonsense
>>77770Justin Timberlake has a surprisingly decent Boo boo voice in this trailer. For a minute there I thought he was just going to do Boo boo as him. I just hope to god he doesn't sing at any point. Also, I'd love if they just did a Family Circus movie with no cohesive plot, just one little vignette after the next, each being basically what we get with each strip. Like one scene we start with Jeffy spilling juice on the carpet and trying to act like it wasn't him when it clearly was and the next we've got the kids getting excited over a snow day or some shit like that.
...why do I want to see this?
>>77827Bill Murray got confused as assumed it was one of the Coen brothers who was working on Garfield. He didn't find out it wasn't until he was already having to work on the voice acting.
>>77596>Avatar>Source of Material: OriginalHA.
>>78097DOHOHOHO!
>>78097Oh hoho~
>>78097I hate it too, but it's hard for anything to be original anymore.
>>78133could have been moreso had he not relied on some many damn cliches.
Does anybody remember those Yogi shorts by Spumco (or a similar studio) that used to get shown of CN occasionally some years back? Those are my fondest memories of Yogi
>>78149I think one of my buddies worked as a cleanup artist on those.
>>78149Your fondest memories are shit.
>>78175Yeah, this.
>>77770....wow. that's actually pretty good.
>>78299
>>78301Its a bear making an ass out of himself for free food. The only thing that's off is that Ranger Smith is too composed. I mean, it ain't perfect, but that's a heck of a lot better than I expected.
>>78304They should have gotten like Warburton or similar to play Ranger Smith a person that while acting serious can still get goofy in certain ways.
The problem is, there aren't any little kids today who give two shits about Yogi Bear and there aren't any adults who are so smitten with the character that they're going to pay to go see it.Who's the target audience?
>>77770Actually, that's surprisingly good.I can't believe Justin Timberlake can do such a good Boo Boo voice. My only complaint is Ranger Smith. He feels wrong. Otherwise, it seems fine.
>>78320parents looking for a kid distraction? sometimes they'll settle for anything.
John K's inevitable rant on this should be fun.
>>78394I'd rather see a video on YouTube. But since that's unlikely, I'll just watch that famous scene from "Scanners"...
>people criticizing Bill Murray and Dan Akroid, both mainstream hollywood actors, for "selling out" by doing bad movies that they get paid millions of dollars to do
>>80343terrifying
>>80343>Great things come in bearsyea that doesn't sound the least bit wrong
>>80343jesus christ
>>80354Wow, that's some of the most obvious matting I've ever seen.
>>80354why are they doing this
>>80354The thing that gets me is that adults know Yogi(and the Chipmunks, underdog, ect) are corny. They are old, played out, and corny. Why is it these executives keep trying to repackage them for youngsters when they could just as easily make a new show on TV (atleast WB has an ounce of intelligence and is doing just that for Looney Toons)Maybe there's a silver lining to this though. After the Scooby Doo movies in the early 2000s, Scooby Doo was revitalized, maybe Yogi Bear will pave the way for a comeback of other HB cartoons(that don't suck)
FEEL THE HORROR
>>80365There are stockpiles of unsold Yogi Bear merchandise buried in the desert that are being unearthed by cover of darkness as we speak. Obviously the movie is simply a vehicle to help get that stuff cleared out and sold off to make room for unsold Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo merchandise beneath the desert.Look forward to live action/cgi Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo remakes in 2015.
>>80377Gonna admit.I liked the delivery of the pie joke.
>>77594>Avatar>OriginalHaha, you made a funny.
>>80380You best believe I'm looking forward to live action /johnny Bravo.
>>80377Ok, Ackroyd's Yogi is pretty good and Timberlake's Boo-Boo is spot on. I have to give them that. I just hate that this is a romantic comedy.
Damn it Dan, stop trying to tempt me into seeing movies I know will suck.
Justin Timberlake is the best thing about this movie. Take that as you will.
Aykroyd doesn't really make a very good Yogi IMHO. His voice just doesn't fit.
>>80644I will not hear a bad word about Justin, so don't start anything.
>>80702Well, his voice is too dark, but they needed names to put on this movie. Greg Burson(the latest Yogi) died in 2008,
HOW THEY REALLY GOT YOGI TO SIGH ON THIS MOVIE!And yes, I hope that whats-his-name-in-english? Dirk Darsterly? gets a moive.
